Even though the lesbian says she's indifferent about the wife now, I think deep down she still loves her.
I know it probably won't happen, but I wouldn't mind a happy ending where the wife decides she wants to be with the lesbian and they end up together after this is all said and done.
The feeling of guilt is crushing her, making her feel that she doesn't deserve being loved, and that being hated would make it much easier to bear that guilt. She is worse than a selfish bitch, really.
She clearly cherishes blonde like a lover would, though she is too intoxicated by her feeling of guilt to actually consider of possibility of making their relationship slightly less broken.
Well, at the very least thats how I see it.

Why are you even arguing about that when the core issue is usage of the cheap move of 'sudden death of someone close to MC' to generate fresh
tsunamiwave of drama.Meh, I bet most of us read it for the drama part either way, so...
Thanks, Megchan & HotCakes
A 500+ page volume? We're in for some drama given that length...
Ironically, if one were to talk statistics that would then make it, I'm quite sure, far less plausible than truck-kun. The number of people who get run over is really way higher than most other forms of accidental death (and also way higher than lots of forms of death that get lots more public attention). And yet I suspect the groans would be universal if it had been truck-kun.
First off, you picked the number of all deaths (rather than what I specified, namely healthy ADULTS, not decrepit seniors and helpless toddlers). As for that Seattle offical’s quote, given how few people die this way even annually in the entire United States, how large do you think his sample size was? Heck, the CDC himself called it an event so rare they don’t even have anyone who’s an expert on this.
So in summary, you missed my point (alt account here by the way), namely that it’s an incredibly dumb and unbelievable way to kill off one of your characters. Might as well have them be hit by frickin’ lightning which isn’t even that much more unlikely.
the description kinda reads like a poor man's thelma and louise
edit: Thanks for fixing it.
I'm not the only one who noticed the cover art looks like a female version of the JUST FUCK MY SHIT UP guy?
They do though. In the US it's as high as 1 person per day dying in a bathtub (with a high majority being from intoxication)

Emphasis on “pulled their legs up”/“held them underwater”. Healthy adults don’t die this way.
There was even a serial killer named George Smith that murdered women this way. He'd get them drunk, draw them a warm bath then pull their feet out of the tub. They were so drunk and relaxed they couldn't sit up and drowned to death.
I elegantly disagree with your gracious disagreement.

I hate drama twist story but this is pure gold, i love this.
Oh, for fuck's sake. There's harsh and then there's gratuitous angst; I feel like this is sliding into that second thing.
Her parents are awesome. Holy crap my heart is breaking for them.
This chapter IS VERY depressing if you put some thought to it, really now, go re-read the previous chapter and connect the dots.
