Teaser for the Novels, but I loved it anyway :3

huh, so its a teaser for the LNs I guess

that really was quite the interesting way to end the story.

Huh.  The anime is really just getting into the heavy stuff at this point.  Odd place to stop the manga.  What a pity.

Guess I'll have to go watch the anime again.

That's a weird way to end the manga....

Honestly, it probably was best to stop at that point. It could go on but most of us are aware of what event happens after this time frame. Setting them to go to either country would show a bit of favoritism from the author.  Though it doesn't really become an issue until the events within the mid 1930s... So they're be middle age or so around that time which leads to the issue that there will be no sequel. Anyway....rambling aside...

Good story, okay ending and was a nice read.

So the Manga stops at this point? Dissapointing :(

Hurrah!  The Syndicate may have Fallen, but clearly not all the way as Gosick is unforsaken!  Thanks for the update!

I miss this... :(

I've read it too fast for my own good. Thanks for the scans!

And that was a neat trick, the one with the flower. But is it really possible? And if so, does it change colors so fast??

Yeah, when I was a kid I had these sort of junior science books with experiments and tricks, stuff you could do with magnets and chemistry and what.  The bit with the flower and the ink was in it.  Not sure about the speed, but plants live by sucking water up from the ground; they're pretty good at it.

Okay, so I'm confused. I thought this was supposed to take place before WWI. The description says 1924.

It seems that it takes place between WW1 and WW2. The Queen Berry arc proves that this takes place after WW1, and the Grey Wolf arc shows that WW2 (when Japan takes part against the allies) has yet to happen and will presumably tear Victorique and Kujou apart. It's probably being fiddly with the years since it IS alternate history, what with there being a fictional country and all.

500 followers only although it got an anime and the light novels were translated and published outside Japan...

Seems like mystery/detective has not enough fans.

Too bad the anime never made it to North America when Bandai took their toys and went back to Japan. Man, it still sets me steaming that I could not buy a beautiful boxed set of the anime. This was one of those series I wanted to have on my shelf just to know that it was there and not going anyplace.

Part of it is she's annoyed by the fact that she is in captivity and can't talk publicly about that captivity.  To a fair extent, most of the time and I believe more now than at the beginning, the school is her jail.  She might for instance have wanted to go with Kujo and that girl to the town, but you see the brief thought bubble where she realizes she wouldn't be allowed to go.  So instead she acts like she doesn't want to.

She's still an annoying brat, but we have yet to see just how heavy her reasons are . . .

I do get your point, but, keeping in mind that Kujo and Avril are the only people she talks to (Willingly), she is indeed being a little unappreciative, and it could end up pushing them away.

Thanks for the scans!!

Aaaaand, sorry Victorique, we understand you might be jealous, and Kujo might be a lil bit of a slow turd, but neither of them deserve to be treated in such a foul way.

Near as I can make out from the anime, the setting is a slightly alternate history; the war that is looming seems, when it eventually comes, to have elements of both world wars IMO but isn't exactly either one.

tsundere victorique <3

Lol, Victorique hates kids when she acts like a kid sometimes XD

A new mystery unravels... Which are the lenghts of Kujo's density?

Yaay~ Thank you for more chapters~ <3  I really wish I could've read more of the light novels.

Yay, new Ivyscans chapters! Thanks for not dropping this.
d'aww so cute~<3
