Good Morning Call

This might be an old series, but it has an ongoing weekly show on Netflix that has been really fun so far. It's part of my Friday lineup.

Wow, this is really... I don't know, sterile? Uehara is the most frustratingly apathetic character I've ever seen. Not even in a "cool, unflappable boyfriend" kind of way, either, he just literally doesn't care about Yoshikawa. She's constantly feeling insecure because of it, but even when she says something, he just ignores her or gets mad that she has (completely justified) doubts about his feelings. Dude, you don't try to spend time with her, you tell her to go away when she tries to share your interests, you ditch her when literally anything else comes up- what the hell is she supposed to think? What the hell is anyone supposed to think? The major reoccuring theme of this story just seems to be how people can get stuck in hollow, loveless relationships purely because they can't push themselves to move on, but that's okay because love or whatever. Nothing here but an empty husk of romance.

Lol, one of the best shoujo ends ever. ^^,

shoujo scan groups be crazy, man

actually the first 9 chapters have been scanlated and chapter 9 was released recently by Divine-Sanctuary

the group doing it just doesn't want people to redistribute their releases

even though you say there's a sequel only like the first five chapters have been scanalated to my knowledge and thats was at least two years ago. I don't think anyone is seriously translating it anymore.

There is a sequel though called Good Morning Kiss

Just to be clear, this was scanlated over a decade ago. Every group that did it is inactive now. This might as well be a museum exhibit. Still pretty funny for a shoujo. :<>
