And now the "new" "translators" have fallen off the face of the internet.
If it wasn't dropped, then it's definitely a problem. Especially if the previous group is doing a better job at it.
What the heck? UGH Nevn scans took Mystic Crescent's project without permission because they were' too slow'. At least they were high quality and experienced! Now we get this low-quality non-redrawn, non-grammatical and no sfx crap that we are probably going to read for the rest of our lives. This isn't fair to MCS or the majority of readers. Nevn scans is only a one-man newbie team, and the new person doesn't even know how to do it properly. They have never done anything like this before and aren't fluent in this language. They could've joined the team for experience at least. I am beyond disappointed.

Well, the previous group hadn't dropped the project. They were still working on it.
"understandable" it might be, but in the future only this low-quality translation will be there for us to read.
It would have been better if this new person had asked the group that worked on it if they needed help.
And who knows how long this "dedicated" fan will be able to keep up the releases.
In the end there might be no one to translate it, just because one person was impatient.
The critic is quite harsh. I don't know what happened, but I am actually grateful that someone still decided to translate this. Translation is understandable. So thank you for the effort.
Yeah, seriously. The grammar is much worse, and the new person even admids to never having done anything like this before and not being proficient in the language. wtf. If you want to read it so badly, do it by yourself.
So now we got bad half-assed translations, with some sfx not translated at all. GREAT.
I'd have preferred to wait for better quality...

Interesting. I wonder if that fallen kingdom blonde prince was ruling over is Amtherfai. It seems he left to fix that place now that the royal family is in chaos. The foreshadowing that he'll be a good king is kinda sweet.
Huehuehue didn't expect that I was actually quite right about my suspicions of "Xiao Phoo". Reading season 2 gives a lot of spoilers but it's fun knowing the history while reading. It makes sense now why Xiao Phoo seemed attracted to her too.

Hmm. Season 2 right now (latest translated chapters) is about how the war started and all that, so it hasn't yet gotten to how they got sealed.
I think the lost memory thing is because of the three seals (as you can see in Season 1). There are three seals. The first one is broken, and they were freed. The second one returned about half of their powers (I think?). So I think the third seal would return their memories and full power and when it's broken, they'll find out who is the demon king and the great sage.

I think it's already completed in the raws considering there's already Season 2 which is the prequel for season 1. It tells the story of the Demon King and the Great Sage. Basically the unrecorded history in season 1.
It will be a spoiler though to read Season 2 since you will know who is the Great Sage and the Demon King while it's still a mystery with the latest translates chapters here

Yeah, but not exactly "everything". It's just the retelling of the past and we have not gotten to the point yet where the whole "Great Sage vs Demon King" fiasco event happened in Season 2. So far,
Season 2 explains everything. For whatever reason S1 and 2 are being translated by the same group simultaneously. Season 2 is a prequel and provides much of the backstory. It's actually really nice to read them at the same time because it's like trying to fit a puzzle together.

in season 1 up till present ch they haven't explained in detail about who is xiao phoo or salaman
Can someone give me spoilers? I came from translated Season 2 (which seemed to be the prequel for this one), and. . .
PS: Tried not to give spoiler with the names/titles in Season 2 so question's might be a bit confusing.
