1 year of no release at all, time to someone pick it up. Keep good manga alive.
Followed in hopes that some group will pick this up again.
Est em illustrations are so vivid and strong.. I can almost share the same sentiments on which she portrays her characters, they feel so human, i can sense Chica's fragile heart and along with her i can sense how much she grew out to be strong and look a bull in the eye and give her best in the bullring. Or to feel the pressure Vicente is pulled into to be a good matador... Well i'm only trying to say i love this particular story.
Chap 18 was really nice, I liked it a lot
The premise of 'I failed suicide so I became a matador' has me so confused, I'll have to follow this and read it later. I'm sure it makes sense in the story, but by itself, that's gotta be the non sequitur of the century.
I don't like bullfighting at all but this manga is extremely interesting. Also, I'm pretty much in love with Chica.
I read up to ch 9, and I can say it is heavily focused on touradas, and from the point of view of the matadores, which I find very displeasing. It's still an interesting manga. You will know if you want to keep reading before finishing vol 2.
I want to read it because it seems really good, but I completely disagree with bullfighting. It's obviously an important theme of this series... but is it really heavy on this, or more about character development and such?
Reading this brings to mind a certain song:

oleeee...
Very intriguing I must say. Never read anything quite like it. I had my doubts about bullfighting, but Chica gave it enough thoughts to justify it just this once for her dream. Also like how subtle they handle Senchu´s sexuality.
Only thing that can ruin this is some kind of stupid Vincent romance, I hope it never comes to that, cause that´s not what the readers are after.
Looking forward for more.
Thank you AMPoS for the scans and the wonderful translation.
What an exquisite story. Est Em really pulls out the subtle undercurrents in this one. Art is incredible, with many of the clothing details bought out in loving detail.
this mangaka really does create some interesting stories. i liked some of her yaoi works, but she isn't any worse at other genres.
oh wow!! this slipped into my radar...
