Golden Days

Although I found some chapters with essential information for yuriko and yoshimitsu's parents a bit rushed- like the mangaka had only this number of panels to use and could not expand a bit to make the story more fluid, I think it is such a great manga! Sad, for sure, but not melodramatic, and humorous at times. It approached time travel I think in a very human way. Quite special.Thank you Ivyscan and Futago scans!

I am really impressed with this manga. I just finished it and have decided that it's one of the more powerful stories I've come across. Thank you Ivyscan and Futago Scans for bringing it to us.

Totally thought I was gonna make it throught without crying but in the end I didn't... ;__;

Man I love this manga. There were points I didn't love in there but the thing is the better parts outweighed all those easily in my opinion.

Just read this for the first time.  I think it's pretty well done, and the author has quite a feel for the Taisho Era.  I'm definitely looking forward to more chapters.  Thanks, Ivyscan.

started reading this on a whim, read all of the translated chapters and after reading a summary of volume 8, I'm crying. Tears stream down my face as I write this and all I can say is: This manga is beautiful. Heartbreaking at the end but definitely unforgettable.

I'm crying so hard when my OTP (Jin&Mitsuya, obv) fatally sinks...

The shônen-ai shouldn't be t main factor to look at with this series at all, I agree with Shamune. But I mean not for those who like it (like me) and not for those who don't... Golden Days is about loving your friends, your family, yourself! Though it is a little slow at times, there has been no chapter that hasn't had it's touching moments. One of favourite mangas ever. ^^

For readers who think about heading to Ivyscan's online reader, heads up, the watermarks are the same.

I've been reading this from the start of its scanlation.

It's slow and touching and the characters have real depth. Even now, at the 23rd chapter, the reader will still be kept wondering what is really going to happen in the end even though details have been trickling out every chapter.

It's sort of like Tower of God and Trace, with a completely different plot and style.

The shounen-ai is pretty light, so don't let that be a turn-off if you're not into that sort of thing. It's a time-travel story and is about things like changing the past to save the future. The characters are very likeable, and the situations are believable and interesting. Nice art too.

This is one the most heart-warming stories that I ever read.
