That would be slice-of-life tragedy, though? Somewhat in the lines of Midas's touch story.

If Psyren had a sequel, I can see it turning out with an X-men kind of setting. Miroku will turn out to be Magneto and Ageha will be Professor X. The story might go something like in the future more and more people with abilities pop up, and because of incidents or whatever there's discrimination. Miroku planning to build his own country of psyshicers makes enemies with non-ability people while Ageha wants to teach kids how to control their powers and integrate into normal society. The setting would be quite similar to x-men but I doubt the story would be the same. I'd be really interested to see how the author would go about making a sequel like that. If you guys actually come up with Psyren sequel fanfic, i wouldn't mind reading some.
Let's hope he will make something better than this, though.
A Psyren sequel would be too forced.
