Description: |
When her mother passed away at a young age, Saeki Makoto was given the power to see Gintaro, one of the gods’ agents that have been protecting the small Inari temple since the Edo era. As only one person of the family can see the fox spirit, Gintaro, naturally as the only blood relative, when her mother passed on, Makoto inherited the sole power to talk to and see him. Although they have their differences, Makoto, with the help of Gintaro’s power, help the people of their community deal and solve their problems. |

That pushy student council president is a total douche, and a sneaky, sexist douche at that. I find myself hoping that he gets some royal comeuppance.
Another spectacular chapter ... this one was adapted into the anime and was actually pretty darn faithful.
Thanks once again for the chapter!
Love this series! XD
i loved this chapter in the anime. i totally ship them haha
Whoa. O_O
New chapter and comPLETEly new material ... very enjoyable!
Man ... I love this series so much. XD
Thanks for the release!
So happy someone is translating this! Thank you guys so much!!!!
This has to be one of the nicest manga to read. Even a cynical old goat like me gets excited when there's a new chapter posted. I also love reading about Shinto and the associated shrines (even aside from the cuteness of Mikos). Thanks, Maigo.
Hmm ... that was interesting. Satoru is a bit ... more edgy and even quietly nasty in the manga! Hmm ... curious that they cut that out of the anime adaptation. Must admit though that I kinda like seeing that side of him. XD
Thanks again for the chapter release!
I only know the series via the anime, and it's been a while, but I don't recall
The material in this chapter was the beginning of one of my favorite episodes in the anime - it is nice to re-visit it again! This series is plain excellent.
Thanks once again for releasing another chapter!
what a nice series
This series is up to something like 12 volumes, right?
Means lots more of this wonderful story to enjoy.
Thanks to the scanlators once again.
Great chapter. Thanks a lot, Maigo.
Thank you so much for your continued efforts Maigo ... they are greatly appreciated! This little gem really deserves more attention and love imo. ^^
Nice chapter. Thanks Maigo for keeping up with such a great manga.
Edit: chapter four says it's chapter fourteen in the top right corner of page one.
sweet manga :3
I LOVE TURTLES and I hope to see Mr. turtle in the future chapters!
on a whole different note, did the top panel of this page remind anyone else of old-timey shoujo art styles? XD
Holy shit, all my feels.
ALL MY FEELS
Unexpectedly good manga.
Another update! Thanks so much!
And wow, after reading this chapter the anime really did do an excellent adaptation of it.
I really, really enjoy this series - a hidden treasure in many ways, I feel.
aww i wish i could see what my town looked like in the past.
wait... nvm i see trees everyday lol
I've sent a mistranslation report and they're still writing Funabashi's name wrong? English-speaking readers wouldn't notice it nor care, but it looks kinda dumb to native Japanese speakers like me.
If you can, don't ever give a dime to Crunchyroll. My account was deleted for some reason. And I paid.
Excellent - thanks so much for the update Maigo! I think there is something like 10-12 volumes already released of this series, so plenty of time to chip away at via the slow but sure style.
Best part about this is the details and esp character interactions that did not make it into the anime adaptation. It helps to add more lovely details to the overall story.
Good stuff!
I don't know if I missed it - what EXACTLY did the carpenter scribble on the pillar?
