On the other, absolutely. That was a lovely story, uplifting in some respects, but shot through with the painful and horribly brutal realities and struggles of real life. Very well done.
And considering the serious nature of this first story, the title of the next one just seems all the more ridiculous. "Homo Rangers Regiment". It's just- after that somber and melancholy tone- to all of a sudden shift to "Go Go Homo Rangers!" -how am I supposed to feel? Isn't it a little messed up to go from feeling sad and maybe a little hopeful to just out-and-out cackling? Am I a bad person?
