This is edgy as hell and has the inconsistencies and weak plot you'll see in old experimental French films. Yet, it also has a special, unique flavor that is very different from typical stories. The art is also gorgeous, with excellent use of ink shading techniques. Using cross hatching and slinking, he accentuates the characters while also making the background feel more vast but without overpowering the events taking place. The dialogue is witty at times and corny at others. However, he did do some research on the topics discussed. If you come here expecting Blade of the Immortal 2, you'll be disappointed. On the other hand, if you're looking for something like Palepoli or Arigatou, you'll be pleased.
