I ended up reading this again recently.

Something about street fighting and this manga has an surreal way to pull you in. It's quite impressive really.

The fight scenes in this manga are also a cut above the rest.

Too bad about the shit ending though.

The art is amazing, really good fights although the character development is way too fast and unrealistic, given the length of the manga it's expected though. The story is okay, a bit short for me.

Ugh. Holyland was way better. Kei is too lucky, it's unrealistic.

Great series! Would have liked to see it run a little longer, but this was a really good read.

awwww... i was hoping that they would extend the story! a great ending nonetheless! maybe it's better this way,extend a manga too long and you'll get a corny series... ^_^

I saw the ending coming. He met the three main antagonists in succession and showed his change from being bullied to being able to go toe-to-toe with a final villain. That's common in martial arts movies/ TV series to show growth of "the mighty oak from the humble acorn" or whatever rambling metaphor you want to insert there, with the final battle the climax of it all. I think this would make a fun two season anime.

Well, although it was a little abrupt, I guess the plot could only go so far after he met Bunen. But still, I wish it went on just a bit longer. Oh well, it was fun to read.
