The ending was weird af, but so was the entire story. I couldn't stop laughing at the part where she kissed the photo instead of stepping on it.
This is one really weird manga, the ending is quite in line with the overall tone if you ask me. Don't take it seriously (obviously) and you'll have a unique funny experience. I'll never forget the moment that got me to laugh like an idiot at my pc for two minutes. "That's amazing!"
Also, I think that being knowledgeable about Gundam makes this manga two times funnier. So many references I probably missed...
Haha...this will be never ever not funny and you don't need to watch Gundam to find it hilarious.
The ending was pretty ridiculous, but as long as you don't take the series especially seriously, it isn't as ruinous as other comments say it is. That being said, Lala and Carla are the cutest characters ever
This was great the first time through but I just finished watching the Mobile Suit Gundam anime and now all the little MSG references make sense XD.
May have to reread this- oh yeah ;-D
The ending did not ruin the story for me =)
Still, for a Gundam fan, especially one of the very first Gundam, this is a really funny manga that you should read. Just skip the last chapter...
The art was good for the most part, but in hindsight it never reached spectacular heights.
The story was okay. It seemed to jump around alot with continuity and plot from chapter to chapter. At times I felt as though parts of the story were actually missing. Not really talking about character references, but it still might be due to my lack of Gundam knowledge.
And the ending was kinda lame and anticlimatic.
As a non Gundam fan I give it a three out of five stars. :U
Well, it was epic... so funny. Gannota and Lala are pure win.
But the ending was kinda...meh
