Just realized that this is the first one of the PreCure series. I only watched this one, though.

I have watched all of them, but even so Cure Black and Cure White always have an endearing place for me in the franchise. (On the other hand the mascots in this series remain some of the most annoying -_- )

 

Cure Black, to me, is the penultimate "brawler" of the PreCures, and has never lost her spot. Of course the movies do help to secure that position amongst them all.

 

The art in the manga seems pretty close to what I remember in the anime itself, too, which is kind of nice to see.

More PreCure is always good, but it is especially nice to get the story of the ones who began it all. Many thanks. :)
