I should also note, this doesn't mean we're planning to stop releasing scanlated chapters, we definitely still want to finish the first series. It just means we're giving you a path to catch up to the sequel series if you can't wait for us to release the rest of the chapters of the first one.

After some discussion with Vigorous Jammer and others, our team has decided to do Part 3 of the Full Ahead! Coco trilogy for fun while our team slowly releases Full Ahead! Coco and eventually Sunset Rose. To honor this decision, we are releasing the scripts and raws for the rest of the series for those who want to read ahead. Rest assured, although progress is slow, we intend to continue scanlation. Enjoy!

Never heard of this series before: On a scale of 1-10, how much like One Piece is this?

I would say it is a 5 out of 10 in one pieceness because at the end of the day it is still a shonen, however it is different enough to have the remaining half be its own thing.

I personally love both series, and each one does its own thing on its own way, this one has pirates that act more like pirates, and the powers come from a combination of creatures and the abilities of the humans so it leads to some neat scenarios.

If you like One Piece give it a read, and if you don't like One piece also give it a read because the story is handled differently, the only reason to not read this is if you don't like pirates or adventure, romance in the classical use of the word a man and the unknown world, but in that case you must have some neuronal problem and should seek immediate medical attention.

if the art style wasn't big enough of an indicator to you, yes this is old school. a bit on the classic side of pirates too. at this point it's 50% art...
