Oh wow is the situation with Shiratori's "ex" way less complicated than he makes it out to be. I always avoided the manga about Suzume because I read this first, and Shiratori makes it sound like such a messed up ordeal. Nothing happens in this story to contradict his account, or even vaguely suggest that he may not be all that reliable, so I figured he was basically telling the truth, give or take a few details. I didn't think he was so consumed by self-delusion that the entire concept of them having a relationship was an outright fabrication, or that the supposed engagement was something Shiratori had decided purely by himself, with literally no input from Suzume at all. To think that we never really see him accept reality, even when he's infinitely deeper into an actual non-imaginary relationship with Fukuro than he ever was with Suzume, is kind of mind-boggling. Damn.

Feel bad for Fukuro, come to think of it. He has so much sympathy for Shiratori! Over a story that's almost completely false! Fukuro would probably still sympathise with his longstanding unrequited feelings, but being mislead this much by Shiratori's desperate fantasies is just kinda sad.

Thank you!

ootaka actually got hot lol

Nice to finally read a new chapter. Love it. Keep em coming. :-)

http://vatoto.com/read/_/149122/fukurou-kun-to-kare_v1_ch1a_by_moi-xryu-scanlations/20  Argleblargle!!!  (Two pages before as well, the fangirls were saying it- but I wrote that off as fans of a celebrity athlete being shown to know nothing of the sport.  But not the official announcer, as on this page.)  Is it the translation?  Surely not.  The mangaka, then?  Why would he hitstrike!  He hit a homerun... right?  Not a strike - that's when you don't hit.  Mangaka needs to go read some Adachi-sensei, then come back.

Why do you assume that it must be the mangaka's mistake and not the translator's? Seriously, I'd love to know your reasoning for that.

FYI, in the original Japanese, the announcer says "He hit it!!", and the fangirls two pages earlier say, "Hit one today, too." So you might want to get your facts straight before you go around saying that Yamamoto Kotetsuko of all people doesn't know her baseball.

There's no way it's the mangaka's mistake.  Yamamoto Kotetsuko-sensei knows a lot about baseball.

On topic- I do kinda dislike the "got drunk and had amnesiac sex" routine, but I do enjoy strong characters, so thanks, Moi-xRyu Scanlations & bl-gyaru!

i love it!

i want more:D
