Well you know the male lead *needs* a trauma that will make him act like an asshole, emotionally distant and immature and/or like a player and it has to be fixed by the female lead just by being herself ... otherwise it's not proper shojo?

Honestly, i prefer this author previous works.. it's cute and unique. But, it's back to the cliche theme. I kinda disappointed. For me, the development of every character is pretty bad too.

This is cute in a bland way, but it does irk me to constantly see the trope of "popular handsome guy helps non-girly girl learn to act like a "real" girl" in shoujo and josei.The guy is often sharp tongued and/or aloof and he's perfect at everything and able to fix any situation. He may have some dark/mysterious past or trust issues or something to give him some fake "flaws" but in general he's bulletproof.
Honestly it's really annoying, both how perfect the guy always is and how all the girl needs to fix her problems is to have a handsome man tell her all the things wrong with her that she needs to change.
That being said, this is cute and I'm not saying I hate it, but the trope does bother me. Hopefully as it progresses the characters can at least get some more personality. Right now they're rather one dimensional.
