The cease-fire has held for 20 years, but now tensions are mounting, and it looks like open war will break out again soon. Matsuda Akira has gone to join the on-site reporting team for NNTV. lol was reading this three years ago <3
IT LIVES!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH DISPERSION AND HENRY
Finally will be able to finish it! Now all I need is Zeonic to get back on Thunderbolt.
IT LIVES?
Finally.
Oh my God.
IT'S ALIVE!!!
WOW! UPDATE OUTTA NOWHERE!
So this guy is the same artist behind Gundam Thunderbolt, eh? I can see the similarities now... (gore/drama/noir-ish settings)
You might as well read whatever's available, no one knows if this will be picked up again after all (three years and counting since it was abandoned).
It looks great, but I will wait until it is completed.
Tell me about it, I wonder why Aizen-sensei dropped when he was doing such a good job. Guess the West is forever doomed to never fully appreciate the brutality of the FM verse.
Also, Ohtagaki went on to draw Gundam Thunderbolt, kinda explains why that too is so brutal.
Another great manga abondoned.....
2 years since last update >_<
Wondering if any group would take it from here...
This series is fucking excellent. Terrible and disturbing, but excellent. NSFL
Same artist sure... But it seems to be far less detailed than before imo. The style has changed slightly too... particularly the faces.
Thanks for the chapters, Aizen-sensei. I've been itching to read more of Front Mission.
It's the same art from before.
Sorry, i mistook you for the other guy that had first written about how he was sick and tired of Japanese portraying the US as evil. My bad.
Man ain't Inudsuka one hell of a honest bastard? even when trying to disguise things, his body reacts to the things he can't stand, haha great! i like these sort of characters that accept their nature, and then consistently go with it, which made me wonder why is that he made a projection on his last day? did he grow attached to them, like a kid to a puppy?
That's a lot of work just to get sure your little troublesome bro is really dead.
The hell happened to the art starting from chapter 39...?
This is my initial comment, at this point you all were still in the same thematic.
This is your first response, i believed you got it, and we achieved an agreement, good, but yet... you continued to elongate this pointless thing, how come?
This is me asking for you people to realize, how pointless this is, even if i have not been that active in this discussion i already feel the waste of time.
And this is you forgetting what i have said in the past, because you are too riddled inside a pointless argument, i have never defended america, neither would i ever say that it did not indulge into rape or killing, let alone inside a context involving the second world war, as a matter of fact i see all and everyone involved into conflict as guilty, so me being sick of america being portrayed on its past is quite funny, maybe you confused me with someone else?
Moreover my plea was for you people to stop diverging into arguments of lesser evils, as both of them are wrong, and who ever had a lesser indulge into atrocities doesn't deserves pardon or being forgotten for what it did just because it wasn't as notoriously bad as what the others did, since it is still a wrong thing it should be remembered so it should never be repeated, that only under our current morals that is, who knows maybe in the future, rape, murder and war are good thing once again, but they aren't, not now, and as you can see now, i have by no means stepped into a contradiction, nor am i trying to cover a mistake, the only new thing here is me telling you people to realize what happens in war and how this is portrayed, now this by no means says that i agree whit what happens in war, and just because is war it does not make it a right thing to do, all the more if it just happens that whatever is portrayed in this manga rings bells of critic to any country it must be for good reasons, and thus your guilty consciousness may be telling them more than i can ever say, this last part was not addressed to you Mr Aizen, of course (that wouldn't make sense), but to the guys you are wasting so much time with.
so now Mr. Aizen tell me, how come you are still talking about this? how come i am still replying when is clear it was just an identity misunderstanding? simpe because not so long ago you all were in the same theme.
Thats not remotely what you said. You said that You were sick of seeing America being painted as the evil ones, because it wasnt america who went around raping and slaughtering innocents during world war 2.
And now you come back and say that America did, and that this is what war is about.
It seems as though you were caught being mistaken, and are now just being angry to cover up that mistake.
You sir are a scholar.
The entire manga is simply awesome and grim. I like it.
Damn people i was sure i already put an ending to this, every single one of them is wrong, and stop trying to diverge attention away from the US or Japan's wrong doings, they are both wrong, and if you think that your blinded patriotism is being attacked is for a good reason that it is happening, this is a manga about war, in war people go and kill each other them pummel, and torture, physically, mentally, economically, and culturally to death whoever loses, that has always been and is always going to be, now if you feel like your country i being badly portrayed, your subconscious may be telling you more than i can here, as i remind you that both parties portrayed in this fictitious conflict are wrong, i cant believe Aizen-sensei is still debating this, and that i am still trying to explain this, shame on you all and myself, for feeding you bunch of trolls, blind, deaf fanatic trolls.
I'm a little annoyed at how easy it is to see ahead in this manga, but still even knowing the twists I can't stop. Inidzuka in Ch38 completely flipped my perspective on him. Looking forward to more updates.
