He's just not sociable, period. He's FT's straightman, and suffers as a result.
Holy shit that was hilarious.
Also putting Laxus in a guild that has completely opposite mindset from him surprisingly works pretty well. Laxus' problem isn't that he is weak or anything, but that he's not much sociable outside of Raijinshuu.

I really like the start of this spin-off.
Gajeels was really good so I'm hoping Laxus will be better.
