Well... Mangaupdates doesn't host chapters but since Korokkekko is on Mangaupdates, sure, she'll add a release entry on there. We're definitely not on Reddit though.

it's been some time but this is Korokkekko of Washokudan speaking yet again!

 

We are really sorry for the delay on this. My laptop got wiped empty of all the data I possessed so I had to redownload and redistribute everything to our cleaners, translators, etc. It was... depressing to say the least.

 

I hope we can release at a faster pace but this might prove to be difficult as our main translator Okonoya Miyaki-san (responsible for Evil Heart, Amaama to Inazuma, Tenohira no Netsu wo) is very busy with her RL job ATM.

 

Our newest member to our team, Unyagi-san (responsible for Kamisama no Joker) is quite busy as well.

 

And while Nick Jagger-san and I are STILL working on releasing Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu in German eventually, we don't know when this will be.

 

I'm also working on releasing Dokoka de dare ka mo Tabete iru by Ono Natsume and Kannou Sensei by Yoshida Motoi but we'll see about that...

 

I'm really sorry for being so slow, and I do sincerely apologise for having made you guys wait for so long, but we're not abandoning any of the series mentioned above and we'll do our best to release them as quickly as our RL duties allow.

 

really sorry that you lost so much data, it's understandable that a lot of you are busy with various things. thank you for putting up this notice! really appreciate the work you've done so far and hope things get a little easier.

I don't want to spoil what's going to happen, but the sequels might as well not be called "sequels" at all since they continue more or less seamlessly from where volume 3 left off.

 

There are 6 volumes for Evil Heart ("sequels" included) and please be assured that we will scanlate everything from volume 3 to the end unless someone decides to license this.

Thanks so much for this. This series really hits me at my core, I'm able to resonate with it so well and really am emotionally involved with the characters. Absolutely love it.

Wow, this is an impressive manga. I am a former practioner of aikido and this the first time I have seen a realistic portrayal of the art in a manga. Normally they take into some extreme end, but this captures the beauty of the art, but this artist makes easy to identify the techniques used truly impressive work. Although even more impressively is that it emphasizes the primary tenenats laid out by Ueshiba O-Sensei that aikido isn't about winning or losing. It's about inner and outer peace, that victory for an aikidoist is the fight never fought, success through peaceful resolution. I hope this gets a licensed release here in the U.S. so that I may own this.

Korokkekko here as usual! Thank you very much for liking this release! I personally don't hope this gets licensed until we're done scanlating, because this would be quite sad for us... (Nothing to release anymore! orz)

 

But if you are capable of understanding french, Evil Heart got licensed in France and can be bought from Kana! If you would rather support the Japanese version, you can buy the kindle version from Amazon Japan! If you change ".jp" in the URL to ".com" instead, it will redirect you to the Amazon US which doesn't sell the kindle version, but you can still get half of all the volumes. (There's the collector's edition out there, but it's costly, so I don't recommend it.) Maybe you can try ordering from Kinokuniya as well!

we hope you liked our new release batch! Thankfully, with our three cleaners (we still need redrawers), our release speed has become quite a bit quicker! We are working on our next release batch now (will contain one Evil Heart chapter and chapters for another series). Each series will take its turn in the release batches, so maybe the next "real" update batch for Evil Heart will take some time, but we hope you'll also like the other series we've picked up!
