That last battle was a bit cringeworthy but honestly the emotions I felt in all of it really made the ending and the journey so enjoyable. I kind of wish there was a sequel but it also feels right to just end it like this.

I think I started this one three years ago. It's been so long and it's finally ended. I'm kinda sad though but it was a nice ending

I enjoyed the ride.
Maybe it's from a narrative point of view then? I mean, -I- would feel cheated if after all the shock they went through when she lost her arm, they just magicked it back. You need strong consequences for people to feel strongly about your story.
(and if they haven't had time yet to come back to the base, it's pretty logical they didn't conveniently find some person with just the right power out there)
Since they didn't address this point at all (ignoring regeneration altogether is indeed a real shortcoming), we could argue for days, pointing arguments for or against her possible cure, by guessing world rules.
Just remake the damn thing, then. A regeneration power wouldn't be out of question here, and there should be enough information left in her body to recreate that arm. People exagerate the difficulty it is to bring a person back to life using magic or some special power, If you have a way to restore the body, and if you have a way to bring back the conciousness that was locked outside that body, then it wouldn't be impossible to have a power or a spell that could revive a person, as long as the body still exists

Just caught up after starting to read this yesterday, and DAMN, this is f*cking good!!
This is one of those few series that really leaves me feeling satisfied.
If this is monthly, then this is how a monthly manga should be.
Well, first, there traditionnally isn't anybody (in this kind of setting) who can, for a reasonable cost, ressurect the dead, and the arm can be considered dead after too long if they didn't put it in ice. And body-modification powers seem limited to the user's own body.
Second, did they go back to town? I don't remember. If they did not, their head medic is probably based there and hasn't examined her yet.
Pretty curious how there was no one who could fix her arm, with all those different powers out there...
mios gonna flip out and kill everyone isnt she....
My speculation of what Mio is based on the current chapter is that she's little more than a result of Reki trying to fill in his missing crew's place...
Also, that goddes is kind of how I'd imagine gods to be in general.
