...Uh? They might've sorted that out, but it wasn't like she had totally committed to the idea that he was cheating. She expressed it pretty well: she's struggling with the distance, and he wasn't even bothering to reply to her messages and talk to her. Seeing him being physically close to another girl in a very romantically-coded setting was just the straw that broke the camel's back. If he was super busy settling in, then say that. Don't just sweep away that one minor misunderstanding and act like it solves everything, like she wasn't already struggling super hard with everything else. You aren't writing for an audience of goldfish, and not everybody is going to be conviced by your happy ending just because you slapped a bunch of sparkly screentones all over the place.
