Skip It. No really don't bother. I figured right away that this would be a fluff read, but it is not even a good fluff read. The girl is high-handed and bratty, she says about as much herself, but though she cries about it, fails to do anything that really counteracts her statements. I think you were supposed to feel for her and be thinking "oh that's not true at all" or "she's being too hard on herself" but I felt more like nodding my head and agreeing. The guy on the other hand didn't really seem to have a meaningful relationship with her, he just liked her smile and though she caused him trouble and never said anything about it, he stays hung up on her for ~10 yrs it seems. After seeing her again and getting treated worse than before, he still somehow is in "love" with her. It's not like the girl was an evil bully but I still don't get why everyone likes her. The story seems to send the message that if you are a cute girl who can shed some tears you can pretty much act and say whatever you like and guys will devote their heart to you. I half expect her to say hop and he will jump....
