Magnificent.

They're not much different from traditional shoujo stories, other than it's in the Edo.

But they're very well made.

I especially liked story 2 Kanrobai.

I don't read period stuff too often, but something about this made me want to give it a look, and I really liked it. It hints at the bitterness of the time's social and class rigidities, but stays sweet. Strong emotions, but with a light touch . . . I'm impressed.
