That's not necessarily true. The notes for Demonbane 2 (which also include some of the backstory for DYN) had an excerpt about a Demonbane that proceeds to kill every single Outer God and is left as the only remaining existence. So at the very least, the potential is there and the Elder Gods just don't feel like doing it.
That's the odd thing. Even the most powerful demonbane of them all couldn't destoy the outer gods even if he could slow them down.
And then Jin writes out the sequel's start on twitter.

Demonbane. Originated in a VN of the same name and is generally recognized as the most overpowered robot in fiction. Which isn't really all that surprising when his signature attack hits you with infinite force, is entirely spammable (despite not needing to be), and can completely destroy the bodies of Outer Gods despite their transcendental, beyond death itself bs.
no but it did fight along side a few gundams in SRW UX, that was the SRW the Fei-yen that looks like Hatsune Miku
So shall we call Chapter 12 as " Demonbane Awaken " and the next upcoming chapter as " The Return of Demonbane" ?

Heres to hoping the next story the author works on is more grounded because this was nonsensical even for a Lovecraftian story.

I'm not sure what I expected when people called this manga chuuni and compared it to Demonbane, but that is exactly what this thing is lol.
Yeah, that was Demonbane too. I felt it was charming for that though.
