I smell a big tragedy. I hope I'm wrong.
Who seriously reads manga expecting realism though? I'm pretty sure all manga readers realise how unrealistic manga (including the non-fantasy ones) are. We just don't care, as long as it's entertaining.
it's still a lot more realistic than other series out there. who's hair is naturally blue?
I'm okay with this
Why do I get this creepy feeling about her.
Got some Ano Natsu vibes going on here. Not that I'm not okay with that.
Mendel's third law.
Black or brown hair trumps blond every time. Except if albino I guess, and it's a disease.
Or the father is not 100 percent japanese.
Maybe there was a Russian on the dad's side somewhere, and the blonde gene got passed on to her when he married a blonde woman.
Maybe she dyes her hair blonde.
I know a half-Japanese person who was a naturally blond baby in the summer. As in white-blond. He has brown hair now, but hey.
Just because you think you know the answer doesn't mean you do. Relax and pretend you don't know everything. You can learn things that way!
Call it Artistic License
Stop ruining things with logic, guys
Have you ever heard of a literary concept called "suspension of belief/disbelief" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suspension_of_disbelief for those who don't know about it)? You might want to try it sometime. Would make reading stuff much more enjoyable. Otherwise, when making comments like this, you are just looking like an ass.
I don't know what it is either, but they're right. Blond hair is a recessive trait, so unless the non-blond parent carries a dormant gene for it (which would be unlikely for a full-blooded Japanese person), the chance of their child having blond hair is... somewhat higher than the odds of someone solving world hunger next week.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though. My knowledge of genetics is admittedly limited.
may I ask what law of genetics you are referring to?
Like the last panel on page 9...
Looks interesting. And hopefully, this does better than Cross x Regalia.
