re-reading my own comment from last year be like what the heck is "a ya ma"...did i mean what you might xd
Although it's not possible, I believe this would make a great side story to DBZ...better than that what a ya ma call it...the grand side story Dragonball GT.
This is such a nice way to show props to a heavily overlooked character. I'm not sure if the artist is looking at these comments, but GREAT WORK! I dare say this is more compelling than the actual original source materials! Keep it up!

I'm so glad you've been enjoying the comic! If you're ever wondering when a new chapter is coming out, please check out the Elsewhere Batoto forums. I have a thread there that keeps track of which page the author is on or whether there have been delays.
Holy crud where the hell have I been? I love you so much! It's almost 3 in the morning now so imma get this read first thing in the morning when I'm not feeling all buzzed.
Just so everyone knows, we put about a day's delay release for chapters here. The dbzelsewhere.thecomicseries website gets the chapters first, then we do a 24-hr delay here, and deviantART gets the chapter whenever the author feels like uploading it. (The 20th chapter is out since 9th of October.)
Author just announced that Chapter 20 would be up at the official comic website by this Friday! YES~

For people who don't know, Yamcha is a character who you mostly see in the original Dragon Ball series. Since he always fought the "end bosses" before everyone else, he almost always got his butt handed to him. Male fans thought he was weak, so they hated him. Female fans thought he was a womanizer (to justify why Bulma went to Vegeta), so they hated him. Over all, he's a pretty strongly hated character in the DB(Z) universe.
And that's what this comic is such a fun read! It's pretty amazing to watch someone write a story about one of the most loathed character in the DBZ fandom and make him relatable and interesting. Give this comic a chance! Just because it's focus isn't on Saiyans, doesn't mean it isn't interesting!
Who said Yamcha was really Goku's equal though? That little graphic at the bottom of the first few pages of chapter 19 are quite clear that Yamcha is not really Goku's equal in terms of raw strength.
Kinda make me actually wondering the fuck outta " WHERE THE HELL DID YAMCHA WENT MIDST STORY OF DBZ ??? "
But yeah , Yamcha equaling Goku in normal mode is somewhat believable ...
Nope, there's no such thing as Yamcha being Goku's equal once he got older.
