I read 1st chapter and have to say, the MC is really retarded.
Got a little anticlimactic there for a bit, ah well, all's well that ends well, though it's been left open for more.
This, and it should definitely be noted that a story about a boy saving a girl isn't sexist, it would be sexist if the theme of the story was specifically that women are inferior to men. That is not the case, it would also be like calling the story racist because the main character wasn't spanish or calling it facist because the main character doesn't explicitly state that extreme right-wing conservatism is bad.
The story is what the story is, it's not against any particular group or ideology just because it doesn't pander to them.
You're an idiot... Spouting nonsense about sexism. A story is a story formed on principles of the history of fucking story-telling. It's the basis of a simplistic story. Yessss it can be viewed as outdated but "boy saves girl" has been used throughout history, "knight in shining armor" bitch. Don't hate on the storyteller just because they chose this. This story was based off what they wanted. Just enjoy the content as its given. Cricicize it on the fact that the basis is not "original" or that the story is rushed. Not "sexism" if it isn't really motherfuckin sexist.

Is it only me who finds the guy to be the main guy? I mean, isn't the hero supposed to save the damsel in distress at the end? Maybe I'm giving it too much credit but it is a shounen manga, right?

From FLCL copy to rather middle of the road shounen. I had really hoped for more horror elements at least but it already seems like it's wrapping up so I guess that won't happen. Ah well.
This is a shounen manga, right? Shounen roughly means "boy", right? Want female heroines? Read shoujo. There're plenty of female leads hogging the spotlight there. Get over yourselves.

You can still enjoy something but realize that it's problematic or sexist. Hell, there's a ton of fan service manga out there that I thoroughly enjoy but I'm not going to pretend they aren't sexist.
