Description: In the future, Nikola Tesla's dream of a 'World System' of electricity is realized. Cords and batteries are a thing of the past, and now people can directly draw energy using devices known as 'coils.' Some people, however, modify these coils for destructive purposes. Mabuchi Kyoma, a man who lives in ruins and has a passion for 'vintage' gas-powered cars, has good reason to know what damage these coils can do. He takes on assignments from a large woman known as Marie, recovering illegal coils in exchange for cash and gasoline.

One day, he goes out on one of his usual missions, to retrieve illegal coils from two criminal brothers, Jony and Every Won. When he gets to their gang's hideout, however, there is another stranger there: a mysterious, cloaked captive that appears to be a young lady. Who is she and will this meeting change Kyoma's life?

Define here? Just to know where to search and buy them xD

You can get the digital copy at BookWalker. Its up to volume 7 currently.

Thanks for the high quality translation. I randomly came across the series today and went through all the current chapters in one sitting.

And man, Prince Salva is really kicking a lot of puppies. There are doing a good job of making him unlikable and showing a contrast to the COO (though she herself probably has sizable skeletons in her closet). I love how in the panel where they first meet the dislike is clearly shown on her face without making it a caricature.

Edit: I also appreciate the manga for having a fat woman with a sense of style.

This manga is interesting but the updates are slow, not that I don't appreciate the work done by the scanlators. Is the anime adaptation any good?

The anime leaves a lot of the story out, and seems to take a different direction at about episode 9. For example, the whole thing with the kids and the education system was left out entirely. Seeing as how the manga is still ongoing and the anime is considered "finished," that doesn't really surprise me.

Manga dropped or just a delay? Kind of a cliff hanger is all

The official books have almost caught up. I have vol3 here, and it's up to the late-middle of the Ghost of the Lake arc.

Salva you bastard, where's the 400 grand you promised me?

With that kind of attitude even I could help, or someone else, I wouldn't.

Haha, piss off dude, get over yourself. They have every right to that attitude.

You're more than welcome to come help us to get more chapters out. If you can't then don't complain. :)

So sad the translation isn't even half way trough after all this years, this series is so good, deserved better.

I agree. Especialy volume 7/8 when you learn more about Ryoma. It's just perfect.

Poor Kyoma. Always attracting the weird ones.

Now to wait 2 months for the next chapter.

He's still a dick, but it was nice to see him concerned for miya's well being. He could've easily let that guy trounce her and repair her later.

Also does anyone else picture Spike's voice when reading his dialogue?

Thanks for the new chapter! The way It started didn't convince me that much but It ended quite nicely.

But the coils are supposed to give unlimited energy though. How can Mira be weaker than the other gut just based on the coil? If anything, it should come down to the other specs.

The difference is the size of the limiter. Like if a AAA, 9v and a 12v battery didn't need recharging. They all would provide infinite energy, but the larger batteries would have a stronger current. In this case the Coils have output restrictions based on their intended usage.

the stuff about the cars was likely foreshadowing.

yea but normal and militar coils have a controller outcome, the illegals not, that's why illegals are more powerful because they can supply as much electricity as wanted.
sorry about the structure of the sentence if is bad.

I had no idea the anime existed in a bubble universe where nothing else mattered.

Anime effectively does though - or why else did it take years before a JoJo adaptation happened that actually got good reviews, while the manga is one of Japan's most beloved? If a manga sells well it can make an anime but if an anime doesn't sell well there won't be a second season. It's almost like a manga can succeed independent of its anime's failure! Wow, what a concept.

But you're not talking about the manga, and neither am I. You do remember your original arguments, don't you?
