Description: |
Everyone in the world uses smartphone apps. But inside them lurks unknown creatures called "Appli Monsters," or "Appmon." The Appmon are AI lifeforms with the ability to think and act, and exist in the boundary between the human world and digital space to allow people and the system to interface and function. But in the vast sea of the internet, the "last boss AI" Leviathan takes control of the Appmon with a virus and begins hacking every system, thus starting to control the human world from the world of the net.
The protagonist, Haru Shinkai, is led to acquire the Appli Drive, and uses it to materialize Gacchimon, a search app monster. What is the secret hidden within the Appli Drive? What is the mysterious field that exists between net world where the Appmon exist, and the real world? What is the "App Combine" that can combine two Appmons? What is Leviathan's true goal? |

Hey guys, I have just fixed the sort order for the English and Spanish chapters.

On the manga itself, first I gotta say I absolutely love the anime but the manga itself is just a plotless picture book though I do prefer manga depiction of Super and Standard level Appmon compared to the chibi look of the anime version.
The story of the manga is just the anime being super compressed, if you don't watch the anime then you wouldn't likely see the actual depth of the character.
V-Tamers didn't make Taichi the protagonist, Taichi originally come from V-Tamers before the anime use his design and name.
Technically, I think the goggles are an affectation of all the Digimon main characters. Regardless of which season it is, I think the main has always worn goggles. Tai in the first two seasons, Takato in Tamers, Takuya in Frontiers, and MIkey in Fusion, Technically Yuya and Subaru are probably shout outs to the awesomeness of Digimon. However, I think Ty gave up his goggles in Try, but he is almost out of school by this time. (Edit: I have not kept up with Try as much as I would like, but it does appear Tai puts the goggles back on sometime during the series.)
But that's neither here nor there. Let's hope this one lives up to the other Digimon series.
Is his mortal enemy Bing-mon?
Remind some of Ken Sugimori's art.
Google-mon would clearly transcend Mega.
Eh, Megaman EXE is already Digimon fused with Megaman. So is this like saying North by Northwest?
This art style, is there another artist with similar art?
What happened when Digimon fused with Megaman.EXE?
A search app, huh
It's Mega must be Google-mon
The art is surprisingly good, but holy crap the writing just screams "GO OUT AND BUY THE TOYS!".
It is a frightful doppelganger to Digimon. Whether or not it will be a good frightful doppelganger or a bad one remains to be seen.
Is it bad that i actually sees the MC more as Subaru/Geo from Ryuusei no Rockman/Megaman StarForce?
the balloons are really weirdly positioned in my opinion, i had a difficult time figuring who was saying what when translating. but despite that i enjoyed it, and i'm looking forward to translating the next chapters.
I found this really awkward to read. Not only because it looks like a frightful doppelganger to Digimon, but because its pacing was weird. Hopefully the pacing is just trying to fit all the character information into a pilot's page limit.
>Make Taichi protagonist
>Give digimon partner
>Profit
So... basically its current YGO Arc-V protagonist in Megaman/Rockman.exe world?
I ... I can't tell if I'm happy or just very, very sad.
