So the only reason to read this is for the sake of completionism isn't it? Did anyone else find Sirene popping out of the ice hilarious?
Yes, because that was clearly obvious in your post. As for my cursing, I'll do that if I want.
Mitsuru Hiruta was Satoru Ozawa's assistant for four years before becoming Nagai's.
I just wrote you WHY exactly there is difference between how Go Nagai and his assistant draw the characters. And stop with vulgarisms, it does not help.
Except he's not trying to copy Nagai's artystyle. God you people are fucking stupid. Go compare this to the original Devilman and then come back.
If by bait you mean the fact that EVEN assistants who worked on Devilman cannot copy author original characters' style? Sure it's a bait all along.
Oh wow, Go Nagai's assistant tries to imitate Go Nagai's style! How outrageous!
No it is not. For example: in the original Miki's hairbangs were static, and always combed to the right side of her face. It's pretty distinct that hairdos in Go Nagai's manga look like helmets and very rarely change. Another thing is Akira and the Devilman himself. Akira's face is a lot meaner in the original, and Devilman just looks like a total joke. No demonic at all, he should join super sentai. This author tries to copy original but that's all. I would see the difference between them in 100/100 of panels.
Also being vulgar doesn't help you in any way
Yes, because it totally resembles Nagai's style. Fucking moron. He isn't even trying to imitate it. The art is based on the 70's anime and that's that. Don't talk if you have no fucking clue what you're talking about.
Its hard to compare to Go Nagai's work, but compare it to the 1970's anime instead. The 1970s anime was very different from the original Go Nagai manga but was good in its own way.
this guy really wanted to ape Nagai Go's art style but fell extremely flat
