I wonder if the author or the editor suggested the super power high school setting. Its true that its overdone and vapid, but I think taking a safe bet isn't necessarily a bad thing when working on your first series.
The six month time skip as a starter I feel was a mistake. Jumping a scene or two forward or presenting a bit of semi-related action is common technique to pique your audiences intrest from the onset, but it doesn't really work here becuase the scene we are presented with is set too far ahead to really mean anything to us and nothing really dramatic or interesting is happening. Sure the scene has something pretty important happening in it, but becuase we have no context the scene lacks weight. It also is too straight forward in what it is presenting, had there been some ambiguity then the reader would stop and think "What is going on here?" and would need to read further to find out. Instead it just feels like a spoiler, which is bad.
The art was decent and the battle scene was above average. Not every panel is artistically fascinating and a few poses look akwardly drawn, overall I think the author has some talent and would like to see how he improves from here on out. Hopefully the author takes a bigger risk with his next work and puts forth something bold and exciting.

only 2 Vol tankubon available ... *x* ...
Sadly this was discontinued
The horror of having to read through rubbish story and cliché after cliché
Good thing it got axed, goddamn girl is annoying. I'm pretty sure its all her fault why MC came to the dark side.
Well that sucks.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like I've seen this before o.O
nonono, what we should care about is
Man that sure lasted long, I had a feeling it would get axed from reading the first page, but the cliches were heavy
>boy meets girl
>foreshadowing in the first chapter
>MC is going to become a badass, till then he's fodder
>humans come to wield mysterious powers
>there's a school for those people
Blech. I rather liked that villian guy's powers.
ogling instrumentality project...nice. still tho...another damsel MC
trinity 7?
trinity7, rain, mahouka ...
sad that this manga got discontinued from what Baka-Updates says
*looks at OnePunchMan*
Alright, I'll admit it's unusual.
Just a difference in taste.
Following a badass sometimes is more entertaining than following a whismy loser crying 24/7
Lolno.
A MC the audience knows will become a badass is a pointless MC in a meaningless story. We know the MC will become badass, therefore we know (more or less) that things will work out in the end.
I think his point is that the author introduced the wrong character as the MC. Having a weak MC in a manga about godlike powers is like having a sports manga where the MC is 4th string. Sure, eventually they'll get better but until then they're going to be 10x less interesting than their 1st string friend(unless it's a comedy/gag manga.)
Though it's too soon to judge, really. I usually give weak MC's 15-25 chapters to show a little worth, if they don't then I get bored and move on.
Except without the author that has an NTR fetish and never completes a series. So yeah just like Freezing...
Isn't the point of the first few pages to let us know the MC becomes a badass eventually? I mean it would be more unusual to have an MC that is the strongest character at the beginning of the series.
Where in this is Horror?
I'm guessing there's going to be a bit of romance? Or they just became really good friends
