Just read the most recent chapter. Why's there suddenly a visual kei band? Who are all this characters?

They are first introduced to the plot in chapter 14....

Just release chaper 13 but instead of Lila Wolves (they still have chapters 13 through 17 as "Scanned, Translated, PR, Cleaned, Typesetted, PR, QC") the group is now "Cookie Revolution Scans" who have IMHO done quite a good job.

 

My only peve is the group likes to put a huge watermark in the middle of each page and while I can sort of understand this practice it won't stop other manga sites from grabing the images. I just checked and some other manga sites have this chapter complete with watermarks and some have added thir own information at the bottom of each page. Basically if you can see it and even hear it on the Web it can be copied by one means or annother.

 

What I do like about Batoto is the fact that they do play fair with translated Manga and scanilation groups and if requested will remove content, however, other sites won't complly.

For any questions about the watermark, please check this forum post. I have explained our reasons for putting them there (it's not only because of the hoster mafia sites, but also out of fairness towards official publishers) in detail. You can get a version without the watermark by buying the original and giving us proof of purchase. Please be aware that the moderators here do not like to see discussion of watermarks on the comment section here, so if you'd like to add anything, please use the forum post.

I did get in contact with LilaWolves about Death Edge. Because the admin is really busy, the group is more or less inactive by now, so LW will not be back to release chapters of this manga.

The admin did, however, forward me their translations. By then we had actually already translated 13 and 14 ourselves though. The names and contact information of the translator as well as the translation for 16 were lost due to the long hiatus on LilaWolves' side. I did translate 16, so we have the translations for volume 3 now. Unfortunately, I don't think I want to continue torturing myself translating this manga myself, because the Japanese is a bit more complicated thanks to the topics and missing furigana readings, which is why we're now looking for another translator for this project. Also, since the cleaning and typesetting of this manga are a nightmare, we'd appreciate more people helping out on that front as well. Most of our staff members are working on all of our projects, so time they have to spend on another project, is less time they have available to spend on DE and vice versa.

Thank you for scanlating another chapter, it has literally been years and I am super happy. I do not mind the watermark, I am just happy I have the opportunity to read the manga.

I would like to know when you going to release the next chapter because its been quite a while now you know >.> ... I am not saying please hurry becuase I know how hard to clean some raw and was a cleaner but the story was awesome that it sucked me in LOL .... and now I am on the daze what an awesome vampire story and more mixed  character showing up. I am going to follow and read more so I am asking  if they going to release this Sept or when so I can keep track my reading  everywhere ^_^"

I damn well found one, and that translated the entire volume three *evil laughs* And guess what else? Volume 4 is on it's way. So you should see much more regular updates for this series
