I guess the chapters being translated right now are before Hima?

Yes, she appeared for the first time in volume 16.

Yes, it is. Himawari is gonna show up on Volume 16 if I'm not wrong.

Rest in peace Usui Yoshito
even you reach heaven long time ago
your manga will always be my childhood

No problem leaving it up, can be used to compare with the official translation.

If you need any help with continuing from where crywalking left just let me know, I'm willing to help. :) I can get RAWs of all volumes, and could help with other things too if you want.

Great!

Okay! Will do! Do you think I should upload the volume 2 chapter 1 or just leave it on my pc?

@GAZ ADMIN

Not to be rude, but volume 1 -12 has a official translation. Perhaps you could continue where crywanking stopped?

I saw your second page, but I'm not sure if you know that all of 1-12 already has an official translation. I would appreciate it a lot if someone would continue translating the Shin-chan manga, it's my favorite series.

Hi

Thanks a lot! Please continue. :D

WAIT, HIS NAME IS SHINNOSUKE? holy crap, after 15 years i had no idea he had a real name, the spanish dub always called him Shin-chan

I'm leaving it as Shinnosuke in instances where people call him Shinnosuke, and Shin-Chan when people refer to him by nickname. I'm pretty literal with any translations/transliterations.

Spoiler

H-how depressing Japan must be?

Along with Dragon Ball, one of the first manga I ever read. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

i love you

Man, I still have most of the volumes.

My childhood! Didn't expect to see this manga get translated again.

Sad to hear the author is dead though.. Hopefully he rest in peace.

I'm not really sure how long I'll translate it for. At least to the end of the volume.

It's simple to read but takes me 5-10x as long to typeset, and at least twice as long as a normal 20-page chapter of any shonen manga.

Great, I love the teachers.

Let just hope Yoshito Usui sensei get his peaceful rest. This man made my childhood days full of laughter. His pen would no longer moved by his hand, and Shin-chan and co. would be forever the same in the neverland of my childhood memory.

RIP Yoshito Usui-sensei.

Yes. He apparently died in a hiking accident.

...

should forbid any mangaka from doing any dangerous sport or hobby ...

OHHH.... how nostalgic! Thanks-a-ton Forgotten Scans!

If you don't know or don't believe that Usui Yoshito is dead, search his profile in Wikipedia.

OH MY GOD..

My favorite manga all the time..

My first manga ...

Sadly the author died. :(

Yes. He apparently died in a hiking accident.

This is really suprising for me, because I like his manga

may his soul rest in peace.
