He is a manga protagonist they get created with a haircut and it remains the same forever unless changing it signifies some deeper change in the protaonist, or sometimes after a time skip. (Switching between ponitails, braids etc. is sometimes acceptable though especially in shoujo.) He can' just decide to do it because it would make sense.
If he got a buzz cut, no one would know.
Just started reading this and I'm confused.... why can't he just get a frickin' haircut? He grows it out in the stupidest way possible and then claims to be such a loser because of it? This is the dumbest problem I've ever read in a manga.
Ahhhh! It's so sad!! That ending!!
The ending tho T_T
But... but . .. . but .. . .
this manga broke my heart so many times and gave the finishing blow
with the last chapter...
God damnit
Like in Academy City?
please add in the sequel. i wish that this series would extended
The feelstrain have reached it destination, the crylikealittlebitchsville.
Holy shit, i'm running out of tissues here...
In another world, in another manga, she would've been a superhero instead...
Oh damn, how did I miss that? Thanks.
Ch. 14 page 40, the page directly after the end of the actual manga, mangaka says
I've seen multiple people mention a sequel, but no sources. Where did you hear that the author plans to self-publish a sequel?
So that part doesn't bug me. But the ending bugs me. I'm with B'Rat . . . her
I don't mind sadness if it really fits, but this seems like just an ass-pull for a quick ending. To be less cliche I guess, they went for an ass-pull that's deliberately emotionally UN-satisfying; wonderful.
But the story as a whole was so compelling that I really, really hope the planned self-published sequel gets made and scanlated and mends this sour taste the ending left me with.
It was a good, nice and sweet manga, but the ending is too much of a Diabolus Ex Machina for my tastes...
(Come on, why hasn't the author left a *normal* open ending by which we can easily imagine the continuation of their normal, quiet, happy school life, like for Angel Densetsu? The sudden heroine escape in the last pages is just for angst value...)
rushed ending to a very interesting series
Thanks for the translation. Also, want to slap the a** who put a fantasy tag.
Wow, a shame it was short though.
I really want to see this sequel.
I guess I'll change it to a "happier" ending XD
I have already read Elfen Lied and manage to survive with a whole heart (it was broken many times during the journey but luckily healed too). Its ending is befitting of the theme though which is why I accepted its ending. For this manga, I expected a "happier" ending but alas, it ended happily but not that happy for me
Decent journey, disappointing destination. Thanks for the scans.
The ending is a happy one isn't it?
....Lol j/k
:'D
Shit, this has the same ending as Ano Natsu de Matteru... I want the sequel to end properly, w/ both MCs being able to love each other properly.
That was just too sad even though it ended at a sort of hopeful note with the promise of a sequel I still felt bummed out.
There's an epilogue, right? RIGHT? ;-;
