The dragon mages are able to borrow and use the dragons' magic, but have to care for and look after the dragons in exchange.

Several years ago, the late wind dragon mage picked up a child floating down stream in a crate. Now, the child has grown into Corseltel's greatest dragon mage, able to use all seven types of dragon magic: fire, earth, wood, water, wind, light, and dark. More like a dragon babysitter, caring after seven baby dragons, these are the adventures they face.

Such a wholesome manga.

This is a really cute series, that I somehow just stumbled upon...
But it's really not a series to binge on. At some point, the plot repeats itself so much, with self-inflicted chores and problems that they have to solve, that it just feels like a bother to even read through.

The first few chapters are about the cute dragon kids. All is well.
But then it shifts more towards the humans, and their petty problems, challenging each other to fights,yet being reluctant enough to participate so they walk around the country just to find a way to avoid it.. Blegh. It also doesn't help the scanalation is horrendous from chap 9 onwards.

That being said, it is still a good slice-of-life, chill story to read. But not when you binge on it. Especially if "anything goes" sort of stories aren't your thing.
I think I'll just restrict myself to read this once a day, after I come back from work.

Someone please animate this.

This is a work that exemplifies the need for two new genre tags: cute and heartwarming. The story is fantastic and funny, sure to make you smile.

I think you mean that need a 'cute kids' genre tag.

@Karch: sorry, the uploading process got messed up, so.... I re-upload it again
@gingryu,
The lead is a male character - frankly, I like that about this show. A good change of pace from the usual females who hold that role.

Is the nanny mage male or female?
Re-uploadng? Odd that it was removed.
Well, since nobody else has apparently commented on this, and the description seems to be less than apt, I will inform potential readers of the content found within.
-This story has an interesting idea, but too upbeat for me personally. Recommended for anyone who enjoys lighthearted comedies. Fighting depiction is about a 3 (kinda like the Punch! Falls- ouch kinda thing), but really not much violence at all. The characters names are a pain in the ass to remember, b/c they all rhyme & have the same ending (Hata, Ata, Kata, Mata, Nata, etcetera). Storyline is good, though.
