Usually I'm not into Yaoi... but I have to say... HONESTLY. WHY CAN'T SHOUJO MANGA BE MORE LIKE THAT? (Am I the only one who thinks like that?) Much less drama, and a bit more honesty when it comes to sex... and a touching love story. This was really sweet and I enjoyed it.

i really enjoy this story a lot, it's seriously one of my favourite junko works of all time. the couple is super cute and also the fact that it deals with homophobia and trauma in a really good way is such a pleasant bonus.

It's certainly not smut, it's true. If that's what you feel like reading, then you'll certainly be disappointed. However, calling it "trash" is overstating it, by any measure; sure, it's a small, uncomplicated story, in no way unusual or exceptional, with virtually no drama or twists. It's also sweet, sincere, and heartwarming. The art is clean and elegant, if a little plain, and the plot doesn't try to stretch out the premise or outstay its welcome. I also think that it handles the insecurities and self-inflicted guilt of a young person struggling with their sexuality quite well. Even if the resolution might be a little too perfect, I'm sure that there are many people would find Endou's feelings to be quite familiar. Then again, there's nothing wrong with a little wish-fulfillment once in a while, right?

It's nothing special, but it is charming, and it doesn't take much of your time or your energy to read. If you're looking for a serious romance, or something erotic, or something to get emotionally invested in over time, then feel free to ignore this and move on, safe in the knowledge that you haven't missed anything important. However, if you feel like reading a short, sweet, throwaway love story, then I don't think you'll be disappointed.
