All in all, it wasn't the worst thing I've ever read. It got pretty weird at times, such as the full story arc devoted entirely to the weirdo salesman trying to pressure the sixteen-year-old girl into fucking the robot, and I definitely agree with Thorn Delwyn that it was a shame that Miyabe was given absolutely nothing to work with, despite being more interesting as a character than basically everyone else. It had some funny moments, but not really memorable for the most part.

The ending was a little abrupt. Seemed a little bit like it was being tragic for the sake of being tragic, though. You could call it a somewhat novel way to resolve a love triangle, given the implied result, but it didn't really seem necessary, I guess? Like, so much action and drama over the last third of the story spent trying to avoid exactly this outcome, when it all turned out to be basically futile from the beginning. Should've read the manual after all.

Still, if that's the intended function, that's pretty damn terrible value for money, isn't it? For a tiny fraction of the price, you could just go to a host club and maybe buy a vibrator afterwards. Not quite the same thing, sure, but it's at least marginally less likely to send you spiralling into deep existential crisis.

Moral of the story: don't sell hugely expensive sex robots to minors. It's just not good for business.

The thing that really bugged me though was that there was no resolution for Miyabe. Because even though she didn't get much screentime I liked her. :-(

the manga story is x100 better then the tv series....but the ending kinda make me sad too(but i kinda like tragic endings) ,but the end is too...uhh..sudden? 1 of my favorate sci-fi romance manga other then video girl Ai series...good manga..but they need to make it more fun and longer story!!
