His frigtening look gets everyone to avoid him and if u add the fact of his personality (very agresive and grumpy most of the time) one can understand why. do no put every story in the same league many wn do fine without a detailed background and others make it soo damn detailed that it become boresome to read; so if i have to choose, a more simple story is better.

Even the spirits were shocked by this guy's denseness. Kinda justified since everyone in his past life fled from him like he was the black plague. Couldn't get a hint even if it hit him on the forehead.

Why do cliches ruin an otherwise great setting?!... You have a nice main character, someone who can stand on his own, and has a ton of spirits who all should be able to make him into an OP character (Due to the seeming wizard system.) and he still has to play it like he does stuff for the royalty and help out everyone he sees in a completely selfless manner.

 

I mean I don't mind him not being portrayed as an OP power house from the start (Which is already forming into a cliche on itself.), but if you see someone trying to poison you, trying to skewer you with a sword, his reactions were more of a comedic act then anything serious (A reaction that a stereotypical weak main character usually has.). I mean I enjoy that he does have some stronger retorts than others, but essentially he's still not standing up for himself and gets pushed around..

 

Because it's pleasurable.

I've commented this on LH's site but they don't seem to read it, so I'll post it here to see if it gets some attention since this has seriously been bugging me.
 
The nickname Zero gives to Grace (グス公) is not "Gusu-Ooyake". The alternate reading for 公 is "kou"（こう）which makes A LOT more sense than something random like ooyake. It can also be inferred as meaning "kimi", but either one is better than ooyake which doesn't even make sense.
 
Hopefully someone on the LH team sees this before Gusu-kou's sister becomes an ooyake as well.

Notice ooyake is not a suffix and means public/official/govermental but kou as a suffix has additional meanings that signify nobility/rank

Japanese versions of titles of nobility are actually gender neutral. If a Duchess is the actual holder of the title (granted or by inheritance) then she should be addressed the same. Only if she were to gain the title as a courtesy though marriage (spouse is actual holder) then you would attach the wife/consort suffix to the title.

 

Historically, only first born sons inherited titles in Japan so you'd be forgiven if you thought it was a masculine noun. However, if you were to introduce say a brit duchess in japanese then you would use the same "male" titles if she is the substantive holder.

Just started read this and my favorite character is the god of the afterlife. Unfortunately, I don't think we're going to see him again. T.T *gloom*

He and the previous "Lord" from "Noblesse" would get along well I think.

Finally, an isekai MC with some balls!

He's going to mind his tone of course! ...for .00005 seconds until he gets completely pissed off by someone saying something stupid to annoy him.

I think him holding it in this long is praiseworthy considering his personality. But more important he finally found something he FEARS and that thing is honestly creepy as f@#k
