Saw on Baka updates that Author has been working on a new series since 2014. It hasn't been scanlated though, so no details yet... :/
Welp, I regret trading this.
I bet it was the polls that discouraged the author.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
damn and it was just getting interesting
hmmm shes the opposite of Sotomura san
This is probably a little naive but my first reaction on reading that the girls name was Onizuka Saki, was "oh so Azusa and Eikichi had a daughter how nice" yeah its a little off and the publication dates don't really match but it felt nice to treat it as an extension of a very formidable story, it also conveniently allowed me to accept the rushed ending since the chances of the actual story meeting my expectations were slim.
ignorance is bliss.
still damned good manga for what it was a lot of unfulfilled potential

edit 2014/10: Since it's not obvious why this series finished so abruptly I'll post a link to the scanlator's thoughts and a brief summary
http://deusexscans.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/yankano-round-05-final-round-end.html
according to Deus Ex Scans: While this series was originally being published in Comic Valkyrie the magazine made the decision to move to digital, the mangaka Yanagihara Mitsuki seems to have made the decision not to move to that format hence the sudden ending.
Pop fact: Deus Ex Scan was originally founded solely because they wanted to see Yankano! translated.
Too good and too short. =(
Very good, short but really entertaining and funny
really author?
