Tsunbaka

Alt Names: alt つんばかalt ツンバカalt TSUN-BAKA
Author: Yokota Takuma
Artist: Yokota Takuma
Genres: Action ActionComedy ComedyOneshot OneshotRomance RomanceSchool Life School LifeSlice of Life Slice of Life
Type: Manga (Japanese)
Status: Complete
Description: A heart-warming tale of friendship, love and strength, Tsunbaka attempts to create a new archetype in the "tsun" genre of girls. Combining the fierceness of a "tsundere" and the air-headed/forgetfulness of a stupid "baka" girl, comes the titular type and character Tsunbaka. This manga focuses on her daily life and her best friend Boon, who helps and protects Tsunbaka, as well as the greatest supporting character Dokuo.

This originated as a 2chan thread and was later adapted by YOKO, similar to how Onani Master Kurosawa was created.

Odd, but good. I'm OK with it!

The ending is surprisingly beautiful.. Can't believe I actually teared up a bit..

I wonder... Will she ever forget to dress? -_-

Also, I agree with Knight K, this oneshot has a Rabuta feeling, or, to be more broad, a Cool feeling in general.

Everything that this artist works with, be it as an artist or as an author, is really good.

My brain told me to stop after 50 pages, and I should´ve listen to it. I don´t know why, but being from the same artist that made the masterpiece known as Onani Master Kurosawa I gave this more time than it deserved. There´s nothing to be found here, no deep message, no fun lighthearted comedy, nothing that makes you think, just nothing.

Is just a bunch of cliches bond together by two very unlikeable main characters. It almost made me hurl up at the disgusting thing that is the bald headed male MC. And never have I found such a revolting female MC.

I read every 214 pages hoping to find something..................I can´t for the love of anything believe this is the same person that worked with the author of Onani Master Kurosawa. Getting better with experience is not guaranteed is what I´ve learned if anything.

Wasted time that I did not enjoy wasting, go read this author´s/artist´s other works instead.

Tsunbaka is like a banana fly larvae besides the gods that are Onani Master Kurosawa and Molester Man (same artist/author).

at first at thought you were right, those jokes were kind of annoying and repetitive from time to time, but the context gave them deep and seen him try so hard for her was nice (like reading of Rabuta of Cool-sensei), also when the prez started to appear as a cool character was a nice change of pace, for a "Oneshot" of 200 pages it was really great, appealing and well I hope Coo and the prez stayed together too xD.

This was unexpectedly awesome.

But OMK was great if you read everything you would like it more or maybe you just didn't understand the the message of the story and just thought about a guy masturbating and not about a guy who matured found love and gained long lasting friendship

Haha,brilliant joke about OMK...

Spoiler

In contrast, this manga is really good, full of feelings (especially the different kinds of love: parental love, friendly love, romantic love all covered and conveied by the main character)

and real characters you can identify with.

And I gladly take the banana fly larvae if the "gods" are just like apples rotten to the core, getting worse the deeper you dig into them, violating your thoughts sadistically until you reach the center to see the seeds having already turned into dust by the mold, leaving you with the unhappy feeling of nothingness after reading dozens of pages (masochists might love it,though).

yoko sensei didn't make OMK alone,he is the artist but maybe he also gave some of the story in it yoko likes to end his work with the dude being an author or something related too writing(cause maybe yoko is the same some girl inspired him), and Molester man was based on a thread in the internet so he just drew the stuff maybe add some parts to it like the final extra chapters

Onani master Kurosawa was just sick and stupid, no matter how you look at it. I don't understand how people can fret over a pure love story like this like it "had nothing in the closet".

Spoiler
I mean sure, it had no story, but I prefer this over a story to tell you that the world is fawked up, if I want to remember it I just have to turn on the TV or read the newspaper. I want something for my soul if I read non-scientific literature, so this is more than enough of what I wished for :)

was all the robot battles necessary? It's a good one shot though.

just need to say this but.....

USE THE FRICKING TONFA ALREADY

GERMAN SCIENCE IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD~~!!

That ending

That was very enjoyable.. its just mindless fun

the stupidity was hilarious... and the random cyborg epic battle was ridiculous but was necessary ( its like an intermission number) ..

cuz it would have been a bore to read all 200+ chapters of pain stupidity without the intermission number lol

overall great read to past time :3

great story just like always :D
Yokota-sensei, you'r always my favorite aurthor & artist in here :D

Exactly what I was thinking XD

But it was quite nice read, not in the same level up there as Kurosawa and Molester, but still Boon and Tsun were adorable. The jokes are also make me laughed really hard (Dokuo's Tonfa Beam/Tackle.etc which never use the tackle XD, Evoluder Guy), and even if the ending basically is predictable, but it also didn't go as I expected albeit on a good way.

Molester and Kansai cameo buying Molester's favorite SRW series's t-shirt was icing on the cake :)
random face for MC?
d'aww that was sweet xD
@FakeHero, You're taking it too seriously. Life ain't all about the deepest moments, it's also intertwined with shallow events.
