so much languages!!! how i read in this  site..

oooooo ooooooooo oooooooooooo

This is a good manga.

Gotta say the ending went rather quick though, what a timeskip...! But I'm not complaining. Finally I've been released from the clutches of this addicting manga. It was such a long road, such passion, such thrill.

HOPS OVER TO THE NEXT ADACHI MANGA.

good stuff :]

I remember Touch.

Pictures came with Touch.

Damn, those eyes are freaking me out.
It's not hard to imagine baseball in japan being more popular there than in the U.S mainly do the all professional major sports the states got compared to Japan. Baseball was intially the most popular sport but over time it waned as most people started flocking towards (American) Football, Hockey, Basketball, Boxing, Nascar, MMA, Lacross, the recent surge increase in Soccer within the states, etc..It just drains the talent pool as many are flocking more towards Football and Basketball than baseball. The whole "Steroid Era" didn't help baseballs popularity any...

Baseball and Football (as we call soccer) are their biggest sports, along with various forms of martial arts and others. With all their traditions, the culture, etc baseball is much more pure and morely connected to the people there then the U.S.

I never watched/read sports anime/manga myself until Big Windup!
But im surely going to check this one out.
I was always a baseball fan, too, although most of my peers always thought it was lame compared to football and basketball. I was really pleased to find Adachi Sensei's manga, so that I could really get into the baseball spirit again. It kind of brought me back to my old days of watching Willie Mays, Mickey Mantle, Roberto Clemente, and Nolan Ryan on TV, and actually being allowed to listen to the World Series during class in grade school (with a transistor radio and earplug). It seemed like baseball really meant something in America then. It really was "the National Pasttime." I just wish I could get the Koshien on TV here in Southern California.
Just my opinion but, it makes sad that baseball is (seemly) more popular in Japan then in America. -_-, I always liked baseball but it wasn't till I watched Majors that I developed a larger interest in it, but Cross Days and H2 are some of the best stories involving it.

<- Didn't like sports manga/anime till after watching them. ^^;
Yeah, I agree. After Mix started coming out, I had to come back and read Touch again. It is still good after all this time.
baseball and romance, the adachi staple
