The description and the genres conflict. Shouldn't it be a Shounen? Or am I missing something?

cidx is currently translating these from Spanish to English. The Spanish scanlation only goes up to chapter 57, is missing 56, and jokes could possibly get lost in translation (Japanese to Spanish to English... ehhhhh). If anyone could translate the raws from Japanese to English, please send me a message! I'll do the rest of the editing.

Is this manga one-to-one with the light novel?
How far in story is chapter 49 compared to the light novel?
The light novel has been completely translated at Baka Tsuki. The manga has been licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment and is being published officially in English. That might be the reason they stopped the scanlation.
I really wish I could read japanese or that the scanlation continues. I want to know what happens next (ಥ﹏ಥ)

This is my first post and i'm not sure how to put the spoiler button on so yeah. The manner it happens is quite dramatic so I would recommend reading it for yourself. You can find an english translation of the light novel on Baka-tsuki or the anime gets pretty close to it as well.

How does the light novel end?
As stated below, the series is still going, and the commercial translation by Seven Seas is actually past what we have in scanlations.
The reason we don't have any new scanlations is because the group that had been doing them had gone inactive for over a year (i.e. since the most recent release for this series).
Is it just me or did that series get axed? Is it still ongoing or not?
It is licensed and sold in English, and it is already at volume 6, so
I know it's on amazon at least. It is however, just as slow. Took two years for volume 6 o.o
I have watched the anime and the light novels (10...) are waiting in my e-reader (sorry for late response)
