Jun's actions are completely reasonable and nobody can say otherwise.

Well everything is giving me errors now. Looks like the site is about to die. To those of you who watched over the site in its final moments with me, Sayonara!

So it finally happened, I was wondering when I was going to start seeing 404 error codes while trying to read chapters.

Looks like it's finally starting to go down.

dang man.... so many great times in this comment section =03. The jokes; the memes; the psychological discussions about teen sex and gender roles.... I'll miss it all (;_; ).....

Well, we're still here =P

This is it, gentlemen, the end game. It was an honour shitposting with you all!

where am i suppose to start flamewars now?

To whoever is still here, I just want to say thank you. This community is a big reason for why I enjoyed reading Tomo and Co's antics and it brightened up my day every time a new chapter! So again, thank you! And hope to see some of you guys over at whatever new site takes Batoto's place!

Spoiler

Given that my comment was only around one paragraph in length, not multiple, I was well within my limits of not putting that in a spoiler, as stated here:

As for the volume 5 cover:

Spoiler

As for the difference between Foreshadowing & Spoilers, the line between the 2 is rather blurry. BUT! Going back to the mod's line about refraining from things that might spoil things, this means we should err on the side of caution in these cases where one isn't sure which side it falls under.

And before you complain about the mods being heavy-handed, remember: we made it happen. This comment section had devolved into a lawless anarchy of spoilers, insults, & loud screeching. Until that point, the mods were much more forgiving with problems caused in various comment sections, but we, the readers, couldn't seem to handle that level of unsupervised freedom. Now, what may be seen as "heavy-handed" is more along the lines of stopping the problem before it goes beyond all hope of control, short of removing the cancerous comment sections entirely, simply to prevent its spread to other series' comments.

Not that moderation matters anymore with us all getting the boot shortly, but I would like to say that banning official volume covers from the mangaka themselves is a little too heavy handed as far as moderation is concerned, an author isn't often likely to spoil their own works.

But I digress, with Batoto going down this topic really doesn't matter too much anymore, hopefully whoever picks up the torch next will be more lax with this sort of thing.

Meanwhile, there's nothing left to do, but ride this thing out till the very end.

So long Batoto

Also, Tomo-chan still isn't a "Gag Manga", bye everyone :P

It's been fun, everyone. I'm way behind, so I've stayed out of the comments lately, but y'all are great. Hope we meet again on the dropout site.

The one page chapters are starting to get to me, whenever I think I haven't read it for long, I'd already caught up days ago

I don’t follow too many mangas on this site, but I feel like this is the only comment section that’s commented that they’ll miss the comments.

That also applies to me, I’ll miss reading about how in-depth people got into Jun density, whether or not it was a butterfly or moth, and how it started off with people completely ignoring Jun as a character.

TL:DR This comment section is “special”. ;)

I'm starting to get messages for this, so I guess I'll just make it clear here. Tomo-chan has been released on our website since we began in February of last year and it will keep being released there until it ends. As for the first hundreds, I'll probably pack them and post the links on the website.

Anyways, if Tomo-chan doesn't come back before the 18th, I guess we'll see each others on the other side!

Oh snap, didn't know you guys also did Chio-chan

I don't think i've ever posted anything here but I've always read the comments and this was awesome, I laughed a lot thanks to you guys. I'll really miss this...

Please use spoiler tags for large size pics/videos and if you just plan to write a couple paragraphs.

gosh I have difficulty pressing Like This already.

Batoto is going away and I will miss this comment section a lot. All the fights and arguements we made will be memories. I love all the memes and gifs you guys posted.

Maybe too soon? but see you guys in another place.

Spoiler

Since we're on the topic of rules, you might want to spoiler this like I have ^

Batoto mods are not fond of paragraph length comments.

Spoiler

Man, i'm gonna miss this section of comments when Batoto goes down.

I can't wait to lock the comment section on my site.

[snip] prevents official volume covers [...] from being used because they "might" contain spoilers [/snip]

The specific words the mod used was (formatting for emphasis):

"Mod Warning/Notice: Please refrain from changing the series Cover Image that can Spoil the Series'

What that means to me, is don't use images that with spoilers for those that are not up to date with the series.

This likely means that the cover images used shouldn't have plot-significant details in them, such as relationship pairings that weren't definite at the start, regardless of how obvious it is to someone that they will end up together. This should also include covers showing main/major characters that are introduced somewhere along the way, especially if they are first introduced as a rival/enemy char, but there is a cover showing them being friends with the rest of the MCs.

This is especially true if the volume cover is from a volume that hasn't been translated yet. (This point isn't so much aimed at this particular series, but any series on Batoto). I remember there was a problem along these lines with the cover of Dimension W, as the scans weren't anywhere near the volume that someone tried to use the cover of, resulting in a notice being put in the description area, which is kinda lame that it needed to be done in the first place.

Tl;dr: Not everyone that comes to this page will be as far along with reading this as you are, so show them some courtesy, let them fully enjoy the ride of catching up on the story.

The volume cover seems to have been reverted back to volume one, while last I can recall it was the official volume cover of volume 5. Hopefully this is some sort of mistake in moderation, and Batoto doesn't actually have some sort of ridiculous rule in place that prevents official volume covers past the first volume, that contain non-canon official artworks from being used because they "might" contain spoilers, as that could possibly be one of the most insanely asinine concepts that I have ever heard of.

What's funny is that there is nothing to spoil in this series.

Hmmm, what spoiler?

Otherwise this "Might" be considered a spoiler as well, even though this clearly never took place

Mod Warning/Notice: Please refrain from changing the series Cover Image that can Spoil the Series.

Make sure to use BBC [spoiler]tag when discuss spoilers.

This series's c.s have been given couple of warning reminders, Please follow our rules.

Hmmm, what spoiler?

I think Tomo-chan has still roughly 200 chapters in it, the way it is now
