Mostly because it hadn't been posted yet, perhaps? Also, I was in a rather touchy mood.
Sadly, you weren't. Although the usual stuff that prolong shoujo manga was absent.
A certain aspect of this all doesn't see to make sense. Can't go into details without revealing too much for a comment, but it is a key aspect to some of this.
Otherwise it was a rather original take on what is a rather tired royal princess/precious female saved by captivity theme you find in alot of these comics. And theroadstopshere is very off base. I wonder why ze didn't read it before commenting.
@ theroadstopshere: now i have to read it, just to see if you're right. which i'm assuming you will be.
Well, description, I wonder what would happen? Golly gee, might she fall in love with the rebel soldier? Might there be a contrived political situation in which she somehow is the pivotal figure for true rulership of the kingdom? Might there be angst and drama and twists intended to blow the reader's minds, with the culminating event being a showdown between the dashing rebel and the nasty prince? Wow, this sounds so different from every other royalty-based shoujo ever written!
...my sarcasm rather got the better of me, I apologize. Hopefully this completely proves me wrong and winds up being a good read, I'd like to be proven wrong with some originality.
