Tentai Senshi Sunred is a powerful, battle tested hero of many years. He has sold his super bike, which is seen in the opening credits. Now he smokes a lot, is effectively unemployed, and lives by the grace of his girlfriend, Kayoko Uchida. His arch enemies in the Evil Florsheim Army are still trying to take over the world. Under the direction of their local leader, Vamp, they help members of the community, run a cooking show, assist Kayoko Uchida whenever possible, and try to attack the ever powerful Sunred. All in all, a light parody of the Japanese hero generation.

They almost had me on that chapter,
I guess I just have to read fast for the jokes to kick.
I knew that art and intro looked familiar. This is the same author that did "Go! Go! Pudding Empire!" xD

Half of the fun I'm having here is because of that one bubble at the end. Kudos for the translator for adding more laughs to this gag manga.
I like it. But somehow I found the anime funnier. I guess there the timing of the jokes were pretty much nailed (I may read it too slow), and I miss the kinkyness of the voice acting.
Still gotta love to see more of this for sure.
I love the anime. Even my ringtone for my cell is the exact "Shuuchishin" ringtone Vamp used XDDD
Somehow this series reminds me of Gaki no Tsukai - 5 Rangers; only in that series, the heroes act like a bunch of amateurs and always scolded by the villains. It's very, very hilarious, I was almost brought to hospital due to excessive laughing... 。ﾟ( ﾟ＾∀＾ﾟ)ﾟ｡ｷﾞｬﾊﾊ八八ﾉヽﾉヽﾉヽﾉ ＼
