Turns out that the rifts are actually connecting 2 separate realms.  It's been a while since I finished the novel, but IIRC there were originally 8 realms (not certain, might've started at 16 or something but I think it was 8).  Each realm had 4 'main' heroes (Sword/Shield/Bow/Spear in this world) and an additional 4 (I think, it might've been 8 per realm) 'supporting' heroes with their own unique weapons.  Main and supporting weapons are all different across all the realms; War Fan was, I believe, one of the main heroes of the realm of that rift.  I think the supporting weapons of the 'Human Realm' are (at this point in the novel) missing or something, and have been for so long that they've been forgotten about.

 

Anyway, an evil Goddess basically pit the realms against each other with the rift, loser's realm collapses while the winner's realm survives.  As realms collapse, the remaining realms are pitted against each other, and somehow the Goddess was able to gain power with each realm collapsing.  There might've been something about how the Hero Weapons were a threat to the Goddess and that's one of the reasons she wanted these realms dead so badly, but I don't recall that part so well.

 

I AM pretty sure that the novel itself said (or a character in it theorized) that each realm originally had its own species though, and the mixed races are the cause of basically refugees of the collapsing 'loser' realms that made it to the winner (eg: Beast People originally had their own realm, but it lost to the Human Realm that Naofumi's in and so the Beast People in the Human Realm are basically refugees).  Pretty sure all of the current realms have at least one species of 'refugee' from loser realms in them.  I don't remember what the justification was for the Human Realm not understanding the realm-warfare while the other realms did; might've been something like a long time has passed or something.

 

TL;DR: Other Hero-Weapon-People are Heroes from other realms fighting to ensure that their realm on the other side of the rift wins and they survive.  I think that they've been through it before, so they know what to expect.

Your spoiler seems to be wrong on many fronts, based around one misconception.

Unless the light novel made changes to this explanation, obviously.

so.... was it even mentioned who are the anti-hero figures? Last time we saw demon-like girl who acted similar and said something to the like there is some potential in Naofumi... and the plot was dropped... now the "nice" duo. I wish some plot devices were used EXCEPT the antagonists explaining everything like every villain in every trope/cliche.

Ore no Yuusha ga Konna ni Yowai Wake ga Nai!

Because he just now leveled up to that strength. During the events of this arc. He started at... a bit lower than Naofumi's level? Meanwhile, the idiot heroes lagged behind and still are behind Naofumi and L'Arc's party.

B.S. ...i understand if it was the 3 Heroes + Naufumi.. but he also trash Firo.. a Freakin Fitorial Queen with who knows what attack.. is just absurd..
