Well, the main reason is probably to fit Kirito's budgets. Because he'll need enough ammo for the rest of the tournament after all. Anyway, I think FiveSeven have pretty quick fire speed and less recoil right? For someone who only need to annoy the target until he reach the target with his sword, such pistol should fit him better?
where the chapters?!?!
Anime is turning out well, however not much progress is being made per episode. Episodes feel like there so short.

Kirito gets a new challenge, from breaking blades in SAO to cutting bullets in GGO. Will he make it?

You do realize each of these virtual worlds are different games entirely right? There is no need to have swords at all in Phantom Bullet, after all, there isn't a system that forces people to have swords. :I
then... they have to change the title of the series each time a new "item" is used? the MC is still using a sword, it could be of light or paper but it's still a sword, so what's the problem? also they add "Phantom Bullet", referring to the new main item, the new arc, so everything's alright.
I said "hater" 'cause the way he wrote shows his subjectivism, all the words were full of hatred.
I don't think so, just stating the misleading title.
