Description: | The reign of the Galactic Empire has reached the Outer Rim planet of Jelucan, where aristocratic Thane Kyrell and rural villager Ciena Ree bond over their love of flying. Enrolling at the Imperial Academy together to become fighter pilots for the glorious Empire is nothing less than a dream come true for the both of them. But Thane sours on the dream when he sees firsthand the horrific tactics the Empire uses to maintain its ironclad rule. Bitter and disillusioned, Thane joins the fledgling Rebellion—putting Ciena in an unbearable position to choose between her loyalty to the Empire and her love for the man she's known since childhood. Now on opposite sides of the war, will these friends turned foes find a way to be together, or will duty tear them—and the galaxy—apart? (Publisher's summary for the novel) Adapted from the Young Adult novel Star Wars: Lost Stars by Claudia Gray. Updates on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month |

Where would we get updates for this when Batoto goes down
Rip Death Star-kun
that was quick
Oh oh, so this is how it will be, huh Chapter 10?
Trying to rewrite Stah Wahs History and add that terrible movie into the plot. Dont belive the Mouse and his lies.
Manny Both-Hanz died for our sins!
you can tell this came from the degenerate west
dont forget some teenager blew up death star
Dunno, some farm boy toppled an empire and killed its emperor I hear.
You do realise they are teenagers, right? How the hell 2 teenagers from backwater world can change anything?
They could be talking about either. While Thane and Ciena have never been adapted for an on-screen performance, the author stated outright that she envisioned the two characters as being played by Sam Reid and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
H-holding hands? Indecent!
D-dancing? LEWD!
I suggest you read the novel if you haven't already. There are a lot of details that the manga leaves out. Their conflict feels a lot more natural and make much more sense there.
Are you talking about the characters from the movies or Thane and Ciena? Cuz I would really love to hear the voices of Thane and Ciena.
I may be a bit biased cuz Lost Stars is the best piece of current Star Wars canon literature for me atm.
thats a really stupid reason to stop being friends. after years of standing by one another always covering one anothers back it ends because he wanted to find out who fucked them over?
even if you love the empire and believe it to be the greatest thing ever you have to understand that people are corruptible, if anyone you would think that she after what she went through back on their home planet would understand that.
why wouldn't she want to help him root out the corrupt people in the empire?
just feels so stupid and off.
I'm just automatically reading their dialogue with their actual voices.
even japanese exist in star wars.
It seems like the character archetypes for both characters were changed in this adaptation slightly Ciena would never kill Thane and Thane wasn't always so confident in save Ciena in the book. Not saying I liked those character archetypes but i hope for more nuanced in this version of events if the mangaka plans to change the two main characters.
I swear, I want this artist to do the Clone Wars.
That guy also did a Dr. Who one.
I like this manga since it follows the book rather well, though it makes me wonder how these are all tied together for the upcoming movie...
OMG. YES. I already want an anime.
Disillusioned with the Empire??! The Glorious Galactic Empire??! That Rebel Scum!
They decided to start this manga in the middle of the story for some reason. Probably to get to the action faster. Hopefully they'll touch on this point sometime in the future, but it'd have to be something of a flashback chapter.
