Something that's nagged me before was the names of the three different branches of Hokuto (Sonkaken, Sokaken, and Ryukaken) and how they were related to Hokuto itself, now rereading this after learning more of the Three Warring States period its names are meant to be Hokuto Sunkaken, Caokaken and Liukaken referring to the three warring states; its translated name probably comes as this was the Japanese pronunciation of these names.
This is one of the best series I've ever read in terms of artwork and in terms of cohesive plot structures. Heck, I liked the story so much that I made Kasumi my profile pic. This series is better than HnK in my opinion.
Thanks Hokuto no Gun
Is it wrong that I enjoy this more than HnK?
And guys, it won't do any harm to give a score to this great read. I gave 5 stars, naturally.
@Exa: well, in the main story there are many references to Toki being the most suitable candidate for inheriting the Hokuto throne, but Toki was unable because of the radiation hiting him due to being the salvator of a group of people.
(and with a proper ending)
