From what I read so far, the main character is way too forced regarding her choices. Like others already said: if she really wants a comfortable life with daily baths, there are tons of better options other than becoming a concubine. Particularly with her knowledge. Not only that. If the concept of "side consort" is the usual one (Like chinese or japanese concubine style from the imperial era), her life will be a hell filled with endless suffering, despair and physical and mental abuse. Man, even the french and english female royal consorts had a bad time back then. Not that bad like the asian harems, but still.
But hey, this is a manga so obviously the author is going to omit the dark connotations and treat this as what it is: a silly comedy.
In Japan, secondary/senior high school is not compulsory. They can start working in the real world right out of middle school at 15 if they really wanted to, such as doing a skill trade. It's not like they don't teach basic math and science in middle school (I personally learned how to make soap in grade 7 science). Inventing a new form of mathematics that would end up changing the fundamentals of math itself throughout the world, or finding a new way to detect cancer in blood while still a teen: they are the ones who deserve to be called a genius. Someone doing blue collar work (such as cleaning), the equivalent of co-op/apprenticeship, or making soap (also simple cleaners that she has demonstrated before) that even a child can do as long as they had the knowledge...a genius, one is not.

I admire her determination to acheive her goal, but can't say I'm proud of her willingness to be a side bitch knowing full well her sole purpose would be popping out babies, just so she can take a bath. If she was that into cleaning, she could have made cleaning products, market that, then earn money to have a bath made, maybe even in her own house if she's financially successful. From the look of things, they have running tap water on ch1 pg16, so she's already skipped the medieval step of having to draw water from wells. And its not like it's rocket science to make a simple wooden tub, so an alternative route is proposing making a tub at the inn, and charge the wealthier patrons extra who want to use it--I'm sure there are people who want to bathe in private rather then use the communal public bath house.
The same way most people do it, get a paying job. Or start small and grow from there. I.e. Soap and detergent ...you can make soap from byproducts of everyday life like ash, lye (from ash), animal fat, plant-based oils...etc, all of which are often discarded. Even nowadays many butchers will give you lard for free when buying meat. There you go, a product she can make, sell, and use, all for free (if she asks people for their trash). As for the tools to make the soap, that could be borrowed from the inn she worked at, or make primitive tools on her own...just like the people who used stone and clayware before metalware was invented. Considering her borlerline obsessive character traits, I'm sure she knows the ingredients of the cleaning products she uses everyday more than the average person.
She will get her daily bath, no matter what deadly challenges she has to surpass, no matter whom she has to kill. She. will. have. daily. baths.
well.. she is a clean freak, not a bath freak
so her knowledge is about cleaning (just like in this chapter)
I really enjoyed this Heroine. She's not wishy-washy, but she's not a block of ice either. She was blank-faced, but she was scared of ghosts, had second thoughts once she realized the King was rather dangerous, and she went to collect information instead of sitting around lamenting.

Was kind of hoping this would be a story about her opening a Japanese-style bathhouse and becoming rich based off the title. Oh well

As someone who only has a shower in his place don't underestimate the appeal of being able take a bath.
At least she has a clear goal and sticks to it. there is enough fantasy world manga out the where the MC seems to just go with the flow (it gets predictable) and this one is female so bonus points for that.
She could have just used her otherworld knowledge to build a bath and make lots of money, but nope.

For chapter 2, I've made the images bigger but it's also slightly blurrier and pixelated. Which do you guys prefer?

I'm honestly surprised her first reaction to the blood soaked hottie was not OMG bloodstains on cloths MUST immediately soak in cold water before the stains set!!
